About The Position
The Warehouse Operator joins allnex’s Supply Chain team and is responsible for daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe operations, FIFO/FEFO practices, and effective use of warehouse space. The role handles packed goods and dangerous goods, processes customer orders and branch transfers, and supports customer inquiries through resolution. The position works Sunday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., at a wage of $26.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Three years of warehouse experience in a chemical company.
- Knowledge of chemical materials storage, handling, and related regulations.
- Familiarity with warehouse operating procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic English language skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to make decisions about competing priorities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- High school education or above.
- Certification or experience in complying with dangerous goods regulations and hazardous materials storage.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP ERP.
Responsibilities
- Receive and store packed goods, enter data, pick and pack customer orders, and organize branch transfers, including dangerous goods.
- Repack and transfer materials into pail and drum SKUs as required.
- Load and unload trucks daily.
- Maintain housekeeping, including 5S, and follow all safety processes and procedures.
- Receive and follow up on customer inquiries, problems, and complaints through resolution.
- Comply with allnex and industry Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) standards.
- Operate the unit safely, comply with health requirements, protect the environment, and conserve energy.
- Ensure warehouse operations meet safety requirements, follow FIFO/FEFO, and use warehouse space fully.
