About The Position

Gehl Foods is hiring a Warehouse Operator to process customer orders in the Partial Pallet area and support warehouse operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role works the 1st shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at a base rate of $18 per hour, with pay potentially based on experience.

The operator picks, packs, and wraps finished goods to order specifications; handles incoming ingredients, packaging materials, and pallets; and loads or unloads finished goods for shipment to customers and other warehouse locations. The role also supports inventory rotation, paperwork for material and finished-goods movements, and operational teams across Gehl Foods. Handheld scanners, the Ross ERP system, and other technology are used in the position.

Requirements

• Forklift or reach truck experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to support warehouse functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use computer systems, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and warehouse and inventory systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for more than 8 hours, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Team-player mindset and ability to arrive on time and ready to work.

Nice To Haves

• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer orders in the Partial Pallet area.
• Pick, pack, and wrap finished goods to order specifications.
• Unload, validate, and inspect ingredients, packaging materials, and pallets.
• Unload and load finished goods for shipment to customers and other warehouse locations.
• Support proper inventory rotation.
• Process paperwork for material and finished-goods movements.
• Support team members in Operations, FSQ, R&D, and other areas of Gehl Foods.
• Use handheld scanners, the Ross ERP system, and other technology required for the role.
