About The Position

West Liberty Foods is hiring a Warehouse Operator at its Tremonton, Utah location. The role is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks and forklifts to move products, equipment, and materials. Work includes picking fresh and frozen products, loading and unloading trucks, performing cooler and freezer operations, and completing related documentation. The operator also conducts pre-operational equipment inspections, uses a scanner and follows required transaction processes, maintains good housekeeping, and repairs and sorts pallets as needed. Other duties may be assigned. The position is on the 1st shift and has a starting base hourly wage of $20.85, with no shift premium.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Able to become certified to operate powered industrial trucks and forklifts.
• Able to problem solve and perform basic math.
• Able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
• Able to work in varying temperature conditions, including cold temperatures.
• Able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed and adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Must practice good personal hygiene.
• Must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical, and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing or processing.
• Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck and/or forklift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial trucks and forklifts.
