Warehouse Operator

About The Position

As a Warehouse Operator, you will help ensure Cambria’s quality and efficiency by staging and preparing slabs for shipping, loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized sales distribution center. The role includes safe operation of forklifts and overhead cranes, order verification, equipment inspections, slab inspection, and collaboration across departments. Other responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 12 months of experience or training as a warehouse operator.
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of handheld scanners and proficiency in basic computer applications.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push or pull 100 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods during a shift, walk up and down steps multiple times, and bend over multiple times throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts with a boom, and a gator.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and precisely.
Build and verify customer orders, ensuring slabs are correctly identified and loaded into delivery trucks.
Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, and keep inventory accurate and readily accessible.
Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and report potential issues.
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers containing products of varying sizes and weights.
Inspect slabs for material defects.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve common goals.
Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.
Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
Wear personal protective equipment provided by Cambria.
