About The Position

The Warehouse Operator is a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s warehousing team and performs front-line processes that help ensure successful delivery of final products. The role coordinates inbound and outbound deliveries, processes and stages product orders, assists with cycle counts, and organizes warehouse areas. The operator uses a forklift daily and operates other plant machinery and equipment as needed. Work is on the second shift, from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed. Pay is $25.69 per hour, plus a $1.00-per-hour shift differential.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Have basic computer and math skills.
• Be able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Be willing to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Have strong collaboration and communication skills and consistently treat others respectfully.
• Successfully obtain forklift certification.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Be able to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones and potentially in areas with dust and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of warehousing work experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and insist on safe practices by oneself and others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Process work orders by selecting the correct products from racks, palletizing and shrink-wrapping them, and staging orders for delivery.
• Multitask and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all standard operating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, assist with cycle counts, and organize warehouse areas.
• Operate a forklift daily and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
