About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Operator accurately and promptly picks products for daily orders, stocks received products, and performs other material-handling and general warehouse duties. The employee must be able to work until the day’s job is completed. This is an entry-level position requiring a high school diploma or equivalent.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic English skills, including speaking, listening, and reading.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a handheld scanner and pen pad.
• Ability to operate a counting scale accurately.
• Ability to communicate with management.
• Ability to work until the job is completed each day.
• Ability to perform moderate physical effort and use motor skills requiring manual dexterity.
• Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to lift, lower, and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a warehouse with hot and cold temperatures through the seasons.

Responsibilities

• Pick products from primary locations and confirm part numbers and quantities.
• Pack products for shipping.
• Bag, label, and seal products.
• Stock products and confirm part numbers and quantities.
• Assist with cycle counting.
• Clean and maintain the work area daily, including shelves and floors.
• Follow all safety procedures while performing job duties.
• Perform general labor for material-handling assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
