About The Position

Warehouse Operators receive, move, pick, and ship products throughout warehouse and integration operations. The role involves operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) inside and around racking systems, applying and scanning labels to track products, and ensuring products are safely and securely loaded or stored. The position works in a fast-paced environment, uses handheld scanning equipment and various PITs, follows established processes, and requires teamwork. It reports to a Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 2 years of warehousing experience.
Ability to operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment, including operating a PIT at an elevation of 25 or more feet from the warehouse floor.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate understanding of safety and best practices while operating equipment such as Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), a crane, or a box truck.
Identify areas for efficiency and process improvement within the work area; apply new approaches, use established tools and techniques to track progress, and enhance work outputs.
Learn and support processes for receiving, shipping, and warehousing materials.
Collect information to understand problems and identify their origin; research basic or routine problems, implement prescribed solutions, and escalate troubleshooting when needed.
Listen and communicate effectively by taking notes, asking clarifying questions, recognizing non-verbal cues, and reflecting information back to confirm understanding.
Work with supervisors to set individual goals and priorities and manage time efficiently.
Stay focused on priorities and meet deadlines reliably and punctually.
Comply with and promote safety guidelines.
Promote a clean and organized (5S) warehouse operation.
