Warehouse Operations Team Lead
About The Position
The Warehouse Operations Team Lead directs employees supporting one or more warehouse accounts and tracks employee hours to provide feedback. The role coordinates with the CSR and Operations Supervisor on shipping schedules, labor needs for rework projects, and cycle counts. It also performs warehouse work, including safely moving inbound freight to storage, preparing the correct products and quantities for shipment, and completing picking duties to customer and company standards. The listed duties are considered essential functions and may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with warehouse equipment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with a stand-up forklift.
- Synapse training.
Responsibilities
- Track employee hours in the account and provide feedback.
- Direct a team of employees for one or more warehouse accounts.
- Coordinate with the CSR and Operations Supervisor to determine shipping schedules, labor requirements for rework projects, and cycle counts.
- Safely and efficiently unload and move inbound freight products to storage locations.
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of products are loaded.
- Perform picking duties efficiently while meeting customer and company standards.
