About The Position

Spreetail is seeking an operational leader to lead its fulfillment operation in Las Vegas. The role owns end-to-end site performance across safety, inbound processing, inventory control, and outbound distribution. Working closely with executive supply chain leadership, the manager will pursue improvements in order cycle time, on-time delivery, and fulfillment accuracy while building a people-first, high-performance operational culture.

The manager will lead daily fulfillment execution, own operational metrics, improve and govern SOPs, and apply Lean, Kaizen, or 5S methods to reduce waste and build scalable workflows. The position also develops leaders and frontline teams, directs workforce and shift planning, collaborates with cross-functional partners on operational blockers and warehouse technology, and champions safety and team member engagement.

Spreetail uses a Work Your Way approach that gives eligible employees flexibility in where they work each week. Corporate employees gather in Lincoln quarterly for a week of collaboration and team activities. Applicants must reside in one of the listed qualifying states to be eligible for this program. The role is based at the Las Vegas fulfillment operation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume e-commerce fulfillment, automated distribution centers, or modern manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading large, multi-tiered teams, including 100 or more hourly team members and direct supervisory staff, across multiple shifts or facilities.
• Demonstrated success evaluating operational talent, running structured interview processes, and developing leadership benches.
• Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), labor tracking systems, and data analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the maturity to provide direct, constructive feedback, navigate difficult conversations, and advocate to executive leadership.
• Adaptability to rapid-growth environments where operational priorities and volume demands change quickly.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day fulfillment execution and performance across safety, quality, speed, and cost metrics.
• Institutionalize, refine, and champion Standard Operating Procedures; use Lean, Kaizen, or 5S methods to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and create scalable workflows.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Area Managers, Operations Managers, and frontline leads; establish career paths, conduct performance reviews, and promote accountability and psychological safety.
• Direct predictive workforce management and shift planning, balancing variable volume, peak seasons, freight intake, and carrier cutoffs to meet same-day and next-day shipping commitments.
• Partner with Inventory Control, Transportation, Maintenance, Facilities, and Safety to remove operational blockers, integrate warehouse technologies and WMS enhancements, and coordinate network-wide supply chain initiatives.
• Advocate for workplace safety and team member engagement, fostering ownership, open communication, and retention.
• Assess operational talent, conduct structured interviews, and build leadership benches.
