Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Physical strength and stamina, as you may be required to move objects from one place to another as well endurance as sometimes you will walk/stand for up to 8 hours
  • Reading, understanding, and following written and verbal instructions
  • Attention to detail for reading orders, finding the right items, and following order instruction
  • Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
  • Protective footwear is required and shall meet ASTM F2413-11 “Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective ( Safety) Toe Cap Footwear” and have a slip-resistant rating designated as “Better or Best”

Responsibilities

  • Work quickly and safely to handle products in our warehouse. This includes Process Inventory Fulfillment, Inquiry Fulfillment, Custom Kit Assembly, and/or receipt of inventory in compliance with all Iron Mountain procedures and standards.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all duties
  • Clearly and accurately recording information on documents and in software applications
  • Regularly lifting and carrying items that weigh 35-40 pounds and occasionally up to 51 lbs. This sometimes is at shoulder height.
  • Operating small machines including pallet jacks, scales, folders, inserters, cutters, binders, etc
  • Using tools including box cutters, tape guns and dispensers, staplers, etc
  • Loading, unloading, and pushing/pulling a cart or pallet (with jack) weighing up to 1500 lbs
  • Stuffing and sealing envelopes, building boxes, collating material, inserting material, and preparing material for shipment
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Anticipates problems, catches errors, and takes action to complete tasks accurately and on time as well as communities on ways to improve quality and productivity
