About The Position

The Operations System Manager (WMS Manager) oversees operational systems and maintains the WMS, TMS, and PKGS systems. Working closely with the warehouse team, this role ensures systems are properly configured, maintained, and optimized to meet business needs. The manager also provides technical support to DHL site teams and customers and develops and executes test and project plans. The position calls for strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience in warehouse operations; and familiarity with inventory-management and logistics best practices. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of transportation or logistics experience.
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong technical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in warehouse operations.
Familiarity with inventory-management and logistics best practices.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Configure systems by setting parameters, defining workflows, and creating inventory-management rules.
Maintain and update systems, identify and resolve system issues, coordinate upgrades, and ensure systems function as expected.
Train users by creating training materials, delivering training sessions, and providing ongoing support.
Analyze system data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and improve warehouse efficiency.
Integrate systems with ERP, TMS, PKGS, and order-management systems to support seamless data flow.
Provide technical support to DHL site teams and customers.
Develop and execute test and project plans.
