About The Position

The Operations System Manager (WMS Manager) oversees operational systems and maintains the WMS, TMS, and PKGS systems. The manager works closely with the warehouse team to ensure systems are properly configured, maintained, and optimized to meet business needs. The role includes providing technical support to DHL site teams and customers, and developing and executing test and project plans. Successful candidates bring technical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, warehouse operations experience, and familiarity with inventory management and logistics best practices. They are detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of transportation or logistics experience.
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong technical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with inventory management and logistics best practices.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Configure systems by setting parameters, defining workflows, and creating inventory management rules.
Maintain systems, identify and resolve issues, coordinate upgrades, and ensure systems function as expected.
Train users, create training materials, deliver training sessions, and provide ongoing support.
Analyze system data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and improve warehouse efficiency.
Integrate systems with ERP, TMS, PKGS, or order management systems to ensure seamless data flow.
Provide technical support to DHL site teams and customers.
Develop and execute test and project plans.
