About The Position

The Operations System Manager (WMS Manager) oversees operational systems and maintains the WMS, TMS, and PKGS systems. The role works closely with the warehouse team to ensure systems are configured, maintained, and optimized to meet business needs. The manager also provides technical support to the DHL site team and customer, and develops and executes test and project plans. The position requires strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience in warehouse operations; familiarity with inventory management and logistics best practices; and the ability to be detail-oriented, organized, and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of transportation or logistics experience.
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong technical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in warehouse operations.
Familiarity with inventory management and logistics best practices.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Configure systems by setting parameters, defining workflows, and creating inventory management rules.
Maintain systems by identifying and resolving issues, coordinating upgrades, and ensuring they function as expected.
Train users by creating training materials, delivering training sessions, and providing ongoing support.
Analyze system data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and improve warehouse efficiency.
Integrate systems with ERP, TMS, PKGS, or order management systems to support seamless data flow.
Provide technical support to the DHL site team and customer.
Develop and execute test and project plans.
Oversee operational systems and maintain WMS, TMS, and PKGS systems.
