About The Position

The Warehouse Materials Coordinator is a customer-service-oriented professional responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers. The role calls for flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. It includes coordinating warehouse customer deliveries and orders, responding to customer inquiries, scheduling transportation, supporting entry-level material planning, and handling office and records-management duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or a related discipline preferred.
3–5 years of experience in a warehouse environment required.
Excellent computer skills and working familiarity with multiple software packages; MS Office and SAP ERP are preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professional telephone etiquette and the ability to handle stressful situations efficiently and professionally.
A team-oriented approach to satisfying sales goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Indefinite U.S. work authorization; future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable.

Nice To Haves

Working familiarity with MS Office and SAP ERP software packages.

Responsibilities

Support the launch of customer delivery creation at the warehouse.
Communicate with internal and external customers.
Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a timely manner, and provide updates when deviations occur.
Create daily customer order picks.
Perform entry-level material planning.
Investigate variances at their source and seek resolutions.
Schedule transportation for daily and expedited services using customer and freight-forwarding websites.
Complete office duties including filing, faxing, and scanning.
Maintain and follow records-retention procedures in accordance with Central Directives.
Recognize escalation processes and the reasons for escalation.
Problem-solve using 5 Why's or 8D formats.
Back up team members as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
