About The Position
As a Warehouse Material Handler, you ensure products reach their destination by receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping warehouse inventory. The role uses a Warehouse Management System and requires technology use. You will operate warehouse equipment, process incoming and outgoing material, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and follow safety procedures. The position offers opportunities to learn and grow into higher-level positions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have good attendance and work ethic.
- Have no fear of heights.
- Meet warehouse physical requirements, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying on the move in varying temperatures depending on location.
- Pass pre-employment physical testing.
- Wear steel-toed boots.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience.
- Prior large warehouse experience using a Warehouse Management System.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
- Receive and store incoming material in accordance with Warehouse Management System processes.
- Select, pack, and palletize shipments.
- Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean warehouse.
- Follow all safety procedures and perform daily safety inspections.
