Part-Time Service Center Warehouse Material Handler
About The Position
As a Warehouse Material Handler, you ensure products get where they need to be by receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping warehouse inventory. The role uses a Warehouse Management System to perform warehouse processes and relies on equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts. This is a part-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule; listed shift hours span 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The expected starting pay is $19.50 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have good attendance and work ethic.
- Be able to perform warehouse physical requirements, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying on the move in varying temperatures, depending on location.
- Have no fear of heights.
- Pass pre-employment physical testing.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a large warehouse using a warehouse management system preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
- Receive and store incoming material in accordance with the warehouse management system process.
- Select, pack, and palletize shipments.
- Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
