Zone Warehouse Material Handler
About The Position
As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will ensure products get where they need to be by receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping warehouse inventory. The zone uses a Warehouse Management System, so technology is required to perform this job. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The expected pay rate is $19.19 per hour. Steel-toed boots are required. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have good attendance and work ethic.
- Perform warehouse physical requirements, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying on the move in varying temperatures, depending on the location.
- Pass pre-employment physical testing.
- Have no fear of heights.
- Steel-toed boots are required.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of experience preferred.
- Prior large-warehouse experience using a Warehouse Management System preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
- Receive and store incoming material according to Warehouse Management System processes.
- Select, pack, and palletize shipments.
- Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
