About The Position

As a Warehouse Material Handler at Graybar, you will help ensure products reach their destinations by receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping warehouse inventory. The role uses a Warehouse Management System, so comfort with technology is required. The position works Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The expected pay rate is $19.50 per hour, consisting of $18.50 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour differential. Steel-toed boots are required. Benefit eligibility may vary by location and role.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have good attendance and work ethic.
• Be able to perform warehouse physical requirements, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying on the move in varying temperatures depending on location.
• Pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Have no fear of heights.
• Use technology to perform work with the Warehouse Management System.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience.
• Prior experience in a large warehouse using a Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material according to Warehouse Management System processes.
• Select, pack, and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
