About The Position

The Warehouse Manager oversees operational areas critical to smooth warehouse operations, helping ensure an engaged workforce, loyal customers, efficient operations, and adherence to GXO’s values. The position is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with flexibility needed for planned and unplanned overtime, potentially including weekends.

Requirements

At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and computerized scanner equipment.
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field.
4 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
Knowledge and experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement.
Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across departments.
Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure customer commitments are met.
Apply GXO quality policies and establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
Guide supervisors on personnel, quality, and safety matters.
Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff.
Recommend programs to improve operations.
Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
Maintain appropriate records and complete reports in a timely manner.
Adhere to and enforce safe work practices and ensure warehouse compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards and regulations.
