About The Position
Gordon Food Service is hiring a custodian to maintain its Houston distribution center and support clean, organized operations. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, emptying trash, clearing snow, and maintaining landscaping. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role requires working in temperatures ranging from -25°F to 100°F. The position is based at 11303 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77066. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Saturdays and Sundays off. Candidates must also be available to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanner displays, signage, and company website information; complete paperwork; and follow verbal instructions.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
