Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the plumbing or HVAC industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required in a warehouse setting.
  • Able to regularly lift (up to 50lbs pounds)
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
  • Forklift certified or ability to be certified

Nice To Haves

  • WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide Leadership and direction to Warehouse Team and keep members of Warehouse Accountable.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and returns.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet customer demands.
  • Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
  • Liaising with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping and receiving.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers.
  • Monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Address any issues or defects promptly.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve customer inquiries and issues related to warehouse operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000 + 10% MIP
