About The Position

JAQ Group is a fast-growing UK fragrance brand landing in the US and is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead its first US distribution centre in Indianapolis. This role is crucial for establishing and managing the warehouse operations from the ground up, working directly with the Head of Operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment. The company is founder-led, has significant existing operations in the UK, and aims to scale rapidly in the US with its own warehouse and team by October 2026. JAQ Group values speed, quality, and building a strong team environment.

Requirements

5+ years as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar operational leadership role.
Proven ability to lead a team, motivate individuals, and maintain high standards.
Organized, sharp, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of US warehouse health & safety regulations.
Great communicator at every level, from the warehouse floor to senior management.

Nice To Haves

Experience with WMS platforms is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Running daily despatch operations, including schedules, processes, and throughput.
Monitoring team and individual KPIs and driving performance against them.
Keeping inventory accurate and working closely with the supply chain team on stock levels.
Leading, developing, and motivating a team of warehouse operatives.
Managing absence, performance reviews, and day-to-day HR processes on the floor.
Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained, including housekeeping, PPE, and incident reporting.
Liaising with suppliers and equipment providers to ensure smooth operations.
