About The Position

JAQ Group is a fast-growing UK fragrance brand launching in the US and is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead their first US distribution center in Indianapolis. This role is crucial for establishing and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including despatch, inventory, and people management. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment and maintain high standards. JAQ Group is a founder-led company with significant ambition to scale its US operations, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for those looking to build something from the ground up.

Requirements

5+ years as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar operational leadership role.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, maintaining high standards.
Organized, sharp, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of US warehouse health & safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Nice To Haves

Experience with WMS platforms is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Running daily despatch operations, including schedules, processes, and throughput.
Monitoring team and individual KPIs and driving performance.
Keeping inventory accurate and collaborating with the supply chain team on stock levels.
Leading, developing, and motivating a team of warehouse operatives.
Managing absence, performance reviews, and day-to-day HR processes for the warehouse team.
Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained, including housekeeping, PPE, and incident reporting.
Liaising with suppliers and equipment providers to ensure smooth operations.
