About The Position

Quality Event Flooring Systems (QEFS), a division of Quality Mat Company, provides flooring and turf-protecting products for events, concerts, festivals, sporting events, weddings, and other occasions. QEFS is hiring a full-time, on-site Warehouse Manager in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. The role oversees warehouse and yard operations, stock and inventory control, and the work crew, while supporting production goals and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The position includes operating forklifts and other handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, moving materials, completing daily paperwork, and carrying out warehouse work as needed. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and full background check.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Two years of forklift and warehouse/yard experience.
Stock control and inventory control skills.
Ability to operate a variety of forklifts and other handling equipment.
Experience in logistics and writing bills of lading.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and full background check.
Ability to stand, bend, and walk for prolonged periods; work outdoors in cold, snow, and rain; lift up to 50 pounds at times; and use manual dexterity to operate hand and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Safely operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
Load and unload trucks and trailers and move pallets, products, and materials throughout the yard.
Inspect forklifts before each shift and clean and lubricate them.
Keep the working area free from debris and dirt.
Complete daily paperwork.
Perform unskilled warehouse jobs when needed.
Wear required personal protective equipment provided by the company.
Oversee the work crew to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.
Maintain stock and inventory control.
