About The Position

The Warehouse Lumper manually loads and unloads freight in a fast-paced, labor-intensive distribution warehouse in Logan Township, New Jersey. The role involves continuous heavy lifting, stacking, sorting, and palletizing throughout the shift to meet daily production deadlines. The warehouse is not climate controlled, so employees work in hot conditions in summer and cold conditions in winter. The schedule is Sunday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Mandatory overtime may be required to complete the daily workload, and employees must be flexible and stay until the job is complete. Pay is $20 per hour, with weekly attendance bonuses and productivity incentives. Pay is weekly. Health insurance begins after 30 days of employment. Paid time off begins accruing on Day 1 and is available for use after 90 days.

Requirements

Able to lift, push, pull, load, and unload boxes weighing 50 pounds or more consistently for 8 to 10 or more hours per day.
Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with hot summer and cold winter conditions.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, and is comfortable with physical labor.
Excellent attendance and reliability are required.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must undergo a background check.
Must pass a drug test.

Prior warehouse loading or unloading, construction, landscaping, or lumper experience.

Responsibilities

Manually load and unload boxes, containers, and trailers, including freight weighing 50 pounds or more.
