About The Position

Exhava Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to support older adults in their homes in the Solana Beach area. Caregivers help clients maintain dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life by providing assistance according to individual care plans. Duties may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, errands, transportation, and other daily needs. The role offers $20–$25 per hour, weekly pay, flexible scheduling, holiday pay, and ongoing training and support.

Requirements

Prior caregiving experience is required.
Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
Current TB test result or chest X-ray, as required by applicable regulations.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license and active auto insurance.
Willing to travel 30+ minutes to work when needed.
Compassionate, patient, respectful, gentle, and attentive to client needs.
Comfortable and willing to provide personal care, including bathing and toileting assistance.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and professionally.
Flexible and adaptable to different clients and home environments.
Available to work flexible schedules, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings, or overnight shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support.
Provide personal care with respect, patience, and sensitivity to each client's needs.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding when needed, and hydration.
Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and linen changes.
Assist clients with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when required.
Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
Promote client dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.
