About The Position

The Warehouse Lumper manually loads and unloads freight in a fast-paced, labor-intensive distribution warehouse in Logan Township, New Jersey. The role involves continuous heavy lifting and physical work in a non-climate-controlled environment, which may be hot in summer and cold in winter. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with weekly attendance bonuses and productivity incentives. Pay is weekly. Health insurance is available after 30 days of employment, and paid time off begins accruing on the first day, with accrued hours available to use after 90 days. The schedule is Sunday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with mandatory overtime as needed to complete the daily workload. Employees must be flexible, reliable, and able to stay until the work is complete. A background check and drug test are required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, load, and unload boxes weighing more than 50 pounds consistently for 8 to 10 or more hours per day.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse in hot summer and cold winter conditions.
• Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, with the ability to thrive in physical labor.
• Excellent attendance and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

• Prior warehouse loading or unloading, construction, landscaping, or lumper experience.

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload boxes, containers, and trailers, including freight weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Lift, stack, sort, and palletize freight safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a rapid work pace to meet daily production and unloading deadlines.
• Inspect inbound and outbound freight for damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse work environment.
