About The Position

The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator - Dispatch - 2nd Shift is responsible for communicating daily loading schedules, priorities, and updates to warehouse loaders. This role coordinates split loads and picking requirements with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate order fulfillment. The coordinator identifies and communicates inventory shortages or discrepancies, providing solutions to minimize shipping delays. They also support the loading team by resolving operational issues and ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the shift. Key duties include checking in drivers, verifying shipment information, preparing and distributing shipping documentation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate and timely outbound shipments. The coordinator monitors loading progress, adjusts priorities to meet delivery schedules, and maintains clear communication across departments for safe, efficient, and compliant shipping operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of warehouse logistics & planning experience
  • Knowledge of the warehouse operations and procedures
  • Forklift license (front, retractable, side loader a plus) w/2+ yrs of recent forklift experience
  • Product knowledge – metal experience preferred
  • SAP transactions to track deliveries/shipments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to calculate floor space in feet and weight distribution on the truck
  • Downloading and recording picking photos

Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily loading schedules, priorities, and updates to warehouse loaders.
  • Coordinate split loads and picking requirements with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Identify and communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies, providing solutions to minimize shipping delays.
  • Support the loading team by resolving operational issues and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the shift.
  • Check in drivers upon arrival and verify appointment and shipment information.
  • Prepare and distribute all required shipping and loading documentation, including bills of lading and related paperwork.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and transportation teams to ensure accurate and timely outbound shipments.
  • Monitor loading progress and adjust priorities as needed to meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Maintain clear communication across departments to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant shipping operations.
