About The Position

The Group Leader Logistics Warehouse is responsible for the management of incoming material receipts as well as material flow into, and out of the warehouse. Additional responsibilities include the management of, “Return to Stock RMA’s, material handling support for the production area’s and general warehouse and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or higher in Business or Logistics
  • Forward thinking with good time management skills
  • 5+ years of Warehouse/Receiving Experience including 1-3 years of Supervisory
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor , and ability to multi task
  • Sense of urgency
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer literate
  • Forklift, pallet truck, warehouse equipment experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, develop, and plan the Manpower of hourly employees in accordance with the Belimo’s organization's management guidelines.
  • Manage the scheduling of all inbound traffic based on prioritization.
  • Manage the physical verification and processing of all inbound material.
  • Process all receipts through the company ERP and WMS systems.
  • Monitor and maintain receiving records and daily receiving schedule.
  • Management of the receiving and dock efforts by teaching and following established Belimo SOP’s.
  • Monitor and manage system warehouse monitors.
  • Utilize SAP and WMS system tools as required to complete tasks.
  • Ensure inventory storage locations are accurate and current
  • Identify and correct inventory inaccuracies.
  • Support physical inventory cycle counting in various storage locations.
  • Teach / train new employees using Belimo SOP’s, as well as developed standards and training tools.
  • Manage and support the production efforts via effective material handling strategy.
  • Cross train employees to be efficient in all areas of the department.
  • Monitor and maintain temporary employee time sheets.
  • Acknowledge and understand all receiving employee time sheets.
  • Manage and redistribute manpower in areas where most needed.
  • Manage and monitor day to day RTS/RMA activity.
  • Monitor and maintain neat and organized receiving dock / warehouse.
  • Ensure that all employees are in full compliance with the BLS process.
  • Promote and enforce forklift safety practices and documentation.
  • Proactive communication with purchasing, shipping and customer service groups.
  • Conduct employee appraisals.
  • Follow and maintain OSHA/ISO procedures and SOP’s for all receiving responsibilities.
  • Manage and maintain all turret, forklift, and pallet trucks.
  • Manage and maintain all racking / warehouse storage equipment.
  • Function as the Key User for Inbound, Intra Logistics, and Warehousing processes.
