About The Position

Join Staples’ World Class Supply Chain Team as a warehouse associate helping deliver products to customers. Associates may be assigned to any of four areas as needed: Order Picker, Restocker, Bulk Selector, or Custodian. All work must follow safety procedures and support Staples’ safety culture.

Order Pickers pick and prepare customer orders accurately and on time to meet production goals, sometimes working above ground level. Restockers scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prepare work areas for the next shift. Bulk Selectors select products, pull and pack totes, cut merchandise cases and/or stock products, and move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt. Custodians perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning furniture and windows, and removing warehouse trash.

The position is part-time, scheduled 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday. It requires working in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations, standing and walking throughout the shift, and handling products weighing up to 70 pounds. The listed pay is $20.50 per hour. A pair of work shoes is provided after 60 days. Staples also describes company benefits, including benefits available to full-time associates.

Requirements

• Ability to count and use basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work an assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and follow job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry products weighing up to 70 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse or applicable experience, including fast-food work (headset experience is a plus), stockroom work, working with racking systems, customer service, or package handling.
