About The Position

The Warehouse Lead supports management and oversees a specified area of the warehouse to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations. This role is a step on an associate’s path to management and provides exposure to all aspects of receiving, unloading, and loading operations. The work may be performed independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision, and involves direct contact with customer staff and outside delivery personnel, requiring positive and friendly communication. Duties include conducting pre-shift meetings and stretching exercises, making safety observations, coaching and training associates, communicating with leadership, supporting management, and performing yard marshalling duties. The role also involves moving pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand. The work is fast-paced and physically demanding.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry 25–75 pounds; materials handled vary.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred; the company is willing to train the right candidate.
