About The Position

The Warehouse Lead coordinates and directs all department workflow and serves as the main point of contact for the department. This role supports warehouse operations by assigning and tracking work, helping maintain policies and training materials, coaching staff, monitoring safe equipment use, and serving as a backup to the department manager or supervisor when they are unavailable. The position is scheduled for second shift, 1:00–10:00 p.m., and requires full weekend availability.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Positive, upbeat attitude.
Three years of warehouse experience.
Three years of customer contact experience.
Ability to lift, push, and pull the weights required by established departmental requirements.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on warehouse business needs.
Must complete pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Lead experience preferred.
Ability to operate scanning equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure staff complete required safety and service training.
Work with management to maintain departmental policies, procedures, training materials, and communications.
Track staff attendance and time-off requests.
Assign tasks to the team and monitor progress.
Act as backup to the department manager or supervisor when they are unavailable.
Train new and current staff on department-specific equipment, policy updates, and process improvements.
Complete assigned departmental projects and ensure they are tracked and completed in a timely manner.
Monitor teammate safety by ensuring equipment is used properly.
Interact with and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
