About The Position

We are looking for a hands‑on Warehouse Lead Hand (Afternoon Shift) to support daily warehouse operations in a food‑manufacturing environment. This role acts as the on‑floor lead for the shift coordinating work execution, reinforcing safety and GMP standards, supporting inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are available to meet production and shipping requirements. This is a working lead position focused on execution, communication, and accountability on the warehouse floor.

Requirements

• Valid forklift and reach‑truck licenses
• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Familiarity with food safety, GMPs, and regulated environments
• Strong attention to detail and safety‑focused mindset

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Lead Hand or senior warehouse associate
• Exposure to inventory counting, audits, or continuous improvement activities

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities for the afternoon shift, including receiving, put away, replenishment, picking, staging, and transfers.
• Assign work, monitor progress, and help remove execution barriers to ensure shift priorities are completed safely and on time.
• Reinforce safety, GMP, and food‑safety standards, addressing hazards and deviations immediately.
• Complete and verify accurate WMS (SAP) transactions and support material traceability.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy follow‑up.
• Ensure safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, and material‑handling equipment.
• Communicate shift status, issues, and handovers clearly to supervisors and other shifts.
• Identify issues early, escalate appropriately, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
