About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Lead Hand to take ownership of coordinating warehouse operations. This role is critical to ensuring all orders are processed, shipped, and dispatched accurately every day. This position will oversee dispatch, wave planning, order flow, inventory control, item movements, unfilled lines, shipping documentation, and daily outbound execution. The ideal candidate has strong ERP experience, solid warehouse knowledge, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in outbound, shipping, dispatch, or inventory control
• Strong ERP and warehouse system experience required
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Able to evaluate daily workload and allocate personnel based on operational demands.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Overtime availability required

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership or lead hand experience preferred
• Forklift license is an asset
• Hazardous material shipping qualification is an asset

Responsibilities

• Lead all outbound warehouse activities and ensure all orders are shipped daily
• Manage dispatch, shipping schedules, and wave releases
• Coordinate picking, packing, labeling, and shipment staging
• Create shipping labels, notices, declarations, and shipping documentation
• Investigate and resolve order issues, shortages, and unfilled lines
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and item movements in the ERP system
• Participate in cycle counts and annual inventory
• Verify order accuracy and report concerns to management
• Load pallets, wrap shipments, and assist with truck loading
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
