About The Position

The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for retrieving and supplying raw materials for the production floor, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to the appropriate location. This role involves scanning and transporting raw materials, managing inventory through F.I.F.O. rotation, and handling finished goods. Additionally, the Warehouse Keeper performs cycle counts, put-away and consolidation activities, manages scrap, and maintains warehouse housekeeping and safety standards. The position also supports logistics and distribution by picking, staging, and loading shipments, and ensures adherence to company policies including ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to retrieve and supply raw materials for the production floor (Resin, pallets and totes etc).
  • Ability to ensure timely delivery of goods to the appropriate location.
  • Ability to scan and transport raw materials to the production floor and to the warehouse.
  • Ability to complete manual IT forms if scanning is not operational.
  • Ability to move excess raw material to the warehouse, weighing it and scanning it into inventory.
  • Ability to follow designated inventory location rules for proper rotation using F.I.F.O.
  • Ability to scan raw material for production use and return to inventory locations.
  • Ability to scan finished goods into inventory, wrapping when required and proper storage & stacking.
  • Ability to perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies on a daily basis.
  • Ability to participate in annual full cycle count.
  • Ability to perform put away activities on a daily basis.
  • Ability to maintain proper documentation for all materials.
  • Ability to participate in line clearance process.
  • Ability to ensure product integrity is maintained at a high level.
  • Ability to move clean scrap cap gaylords to the regrind area.
  • Ability to accurately weigh & record all scrap in designated collection points.
  • Ability to take scrap boxes to compactor and compact them.
  • Ability to empty garbage containers when full.
  • Ability to ensure Warehouse is kept clean and clear of safety issues on a daily basis.
  • Ability to sweep and mop floors.
  • Ability to ensure all pathways are kept clear.
  • Ability to perform daily pre-use check on powered industrial equipment.
  • Ability to report any unsafe condition or near miss in the Warehouse.
  • Ability to report loss, damage and any such discrepancies to the supervising authorities.
  • Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
  • Ability to pick and stage kits for shipping to ensure that all items are addressed and shipped to appropriate locations.
  • Ability to firewall orders prior to shipping in accordance to picking list.
  • Ability to load shipments in accordance to bill of lading and firewall.
  • Ability to perform picking process in case it is needed (relabeling, change packaging or pallets, etc.).
  • Ability to support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
