About The Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform grounds keeping duties for the exterior portions of the building and the courtyard. During inclement weather, the Grounds Keeper will assist the Building Engineer with other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older due to equipment use.
• Physically capable of performing duties related to exterior and interior work.
• Existing employees must have a satisfactory work record in their prior positions.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or graduate of a technical school preferred.
• Previous experience in grounds keeping duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of exterior grounds including mowing, weeding, trimming, watering, general conditioning of landscaping, mulching, planting, treating and fertilizing.
• Snow removal and sanding.
• Maintenance of St. Luke vehicles and equipment.
• During inclement weather, assist in maintenance duties, cleaning and washing, lifting and moving heavy furniture and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or as directed by the Supervisor, Department Head, and/or Administrator.
