About The Position

The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for retrieving and supplying raw materials for the production floor, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to the appropriate location. This role involves scanning and transporting materials, managing inventory, performing cycle counts, and ensuring product integrity. Additionally, the Warehouse Keeper will handle scrap management, maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety, and support logistics and distribution operations. The position operates on a night shift schedule with a 36/48 rotating pattern.

Ability to manage scrap, including weighing, recording, and compacting.
Ability to empty garbage containers.
Ability to maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
Ability to sweep and mop floors.
Ability to keep pathways clear.
Ability to perform daily pre-use checks on powered industrial equipment.
Ability to report unsafe conditions or near misses.
Ability to report loss, damage, and discrepancies.
Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
Ability to pick and stage kits for shipping.
Ability to firewall orders.
Ability to load shipments.
Ability to perform picking process as needed.
Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

Responsibilities

Retrieve and supply raw materials (Resin, pallets and totes etc.) for the production floor, ensuring timely delivery.
Scan and transport raw materials to the production floor and to the warehouse.
Complete manual IT forms if scanning is not operational.
Move excess raw material to the warehouse, weighing and scanning it into inventory.
Follow designated inventory location rules for proper rotation using F.I.F.O.
Scan raw material for production use and return to inventory locations.
Scan finished goods into inventory, wrap when required, and ensure proper storage & stacking.
Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Participate in the annual full cycle count.
Perform put away activities on a daily basis.
Maintain proper documentation for all materials.
Participate in the line clearance process.
Ensure product integrity is maintained at a high level.
Move clean scrap gaylords to the regrind area.
Accurately weigh and record all scrap in designated collection points.
Take scrap boxes to compactor and compact them.
Empty garbage containers when full.
Ensure the Warehouse is kept clean and clear of safety issues on a daily basis.
Sweep and mop floors.
Ensure all pathways are kept clear.
Perform daily pre-use checks on powered industrial equipment.
Report any unsafe condition or near miss in the Warehouse.
Report loss, damage, and any discrepancies to supervising authorities.
Operate a manual pallet jack.
Pick and stage kits for shipping, ensuring all items are addressed and shipped to appropriate locations.
Firewall orders prior to shipping in accordance with the picking list.
Load shipments in accordance with the bill of lading and firewall.
Perform picking process as needed (relabeling, change packaging or pallets, etc.).
Support and maintain all company policies including ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
