About The Position

Certco, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Janitor for its third-shift team at the Femrite Drive location in Madison, Wisconsin. The Janitor cleans and sanitizes offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, break rooms, public areas, and other parts of the facility to keep the workplace clean, safe, organized, and ready for the next shift. The role includes indoor cleaning, routine upkeep of exterior areas and the parking lot, waste and recycling removal, and responding to special cleaning requests. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Experience with proper cleaning techniques.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage assigned responsibilities independently.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to stay active and complete routine cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Regular attendance in accordance with the Company Attendance Policy.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in a janitorial position.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, break rooms, meeting rooms, restrooms, public areas, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
• Operate an electric sweeper.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling daily.
• Perform routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and the parking lot.
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
• Respond to emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
• Perform basic upkeep, such as replacing light bulbs and air fresheners.
• Follow established safety procedures and handle cleaning products appropriately.
• Identify areas needing attention and help maintain a clean, organized facility.
• Attend regularly and comply with the Company Attendance Policy.
