About The Position

Progressive Automations is seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Inventory Specialist for its Blue Ash warehouse, a close-knit team of five that receives, stores, picks and ships orders for US customers. The role is responsible for maintaining the warehouse’s condition and inventory accuracy, including keeping aisles, bins and work areas clean, safe, organized and clearly labeled; counting stock and resolving discrepancies; and putting received product in the correct locations. The specialist also supports picking, packing and shipping when the regular pickers are unavailable or during busy periods. The position suits someone who takes pride in orderly spaces, notices small issues and works carefully and independently. It requires regular lifting of up to 50 lb, standing and walking for most of the shift, and bending, reaching and climbing step ladders. The company offers a stable schedule with no overnight shifts, health benefits after probation, and training on NetSuite and warehouse processes.

Requirements

  • A team player willing to help with picking when needed.
  • Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse or inventory software.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and email skills.
  • Able to regularly lift up to 50 lb, stand and walk for most of the shift, and bend, reach and climb step ladders.

  • Follow daily and weekly housekeeping routines and flag items needing repair or attention.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and periodic full inventory counts using handheld scanners and NetSuite.
  • Investigate and resolve count discrepancies, misplaced stock and mislabeled items, and record adjustments accurately.
  • Keep like items together, consolidate partial bins and ensure every SKU has a clear home.
  • Report recurring inventory-accuracy problems and suggest process improvements.
  • Verify received items against packing slips and purchase orders before putaway.
  • Put stock in the correct bin, scan to confirm its location and keep fast-moving items easy to reach.

  • Cover picking, packing and order check-out during breaks, lunches, vacations and busy periods.
  • Pick orders accurately against pick lists and pack them to company standards.
  • Assist with shipping tasks such as labeling and staging as needed.
