Warehouse/Internal Logistics Operator
About The Position
At ABB, the Warehouse/Internal Logistics Operator conducts activities involving the handling of parts and semi-finished or finished products in the warehouse or to and from the production line. The role sorts and arranges materials for storage according to guidelines, performs routine activities under established procedures, picks stock components for dispatch, packs products onto pallets, and transports boxes while supporting other collection, storage, and warehouse activities. The position is onsite and contributes to the Smart Power Business Unit in Senatobia, Mississippi. It reports to the Shipping Supervisor.
Requirements
- 0–3 months of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or certificate required.
- Able to communicate in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Sort and arrange material for storage according to guidelines.
- Execute routine activities according to established procedures.
- Pick components from stock for dispatch and pack them onto pallets.
- Transport boxes and perform other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.
