About The Position

Warehouse Fulfillment Specialists perform general warehouse activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, using a handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update locations, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Specialists help deliver a safe, positive, and friendly member experience while following club policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. They maintain an organized OMNI workspace and meet productivity and service-level expectations.

Requirements

• Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use handheld RF scanner devices to pick orders and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and communicate inventory, equipment, expired-item, or short-dated-item issues.
• Coordinate with the club team to replenish merchandise and, when possible, pull items from the reserve area to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow operational processes and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping such as removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine whether to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment for members and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively to meet club standards and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, and full attendance.
