About The Position

Warehouse Fulfillment Specialists perform general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves picking merchandise from lists using handheld RF scanners, verifying items and counts, moving orders to staging, and securely packaging orders according to standard procedures. Specialists help meet service-level agreements, productivity metrics, and deadlines while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe Omni work area. They also support members and club teams, communicate inventory or equipment issues, handle returns and damaged or spoiled goods, and may work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; lifting and moving heavier or awkward objects may be required with assistance.
• Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise from order lists using handheld RF scanner devices.
• Verify merchandise and counts, update merchandise locations, and move items from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicate inventory and equipment problems, including expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
• Coordinate with club teams to replenish merchandise and, when possible, pull merchandise from the reserve area to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow operating efficiencies, processes, and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies, procedures, and dress code standards.
• Deliver friendly, courteous service and help address member concerns.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment, demonstrate teamwork, and uphold daily GOLD club standards.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, and full attendance.
