About The Position

Responsible for general warehouse and order-fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from pick lists, using handheld RF scanners to verify merchandise and counts, moving merchandise from the sales floor to a staging area, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Associates are expected to meet productivity and service-level expectations, follow established procedures and club policies, maintain a clean and safe work area, and provide friendly, service-oriented support to members.

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use a handheld RF scanner to select and verify orders.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations as needed.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
• Work with the team to retrieve merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders in a timely manner and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow operational processes and established standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Package orders securely in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine whether they should be handled through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards, and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Support a safe and positive environment for members and coworkers; deliver friendly service and address or escalate member concerns appropriately.
• Work collaboratively toward team goals, uphold GOLD member and club standards, and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
