Warehouse Freezer/Loadout A-Shift

About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position in a Material Handling Loadout or Freezer facility. The role involves receiving, palletizing, consolidating, preparing, and loading product for freezer inventory and shipment while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. Employees must be willing to work A-Shift with variable hours, work in a fast-paced environment, wear required safety equipment, cross-train in different areas, and perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor. The position is performed in an extreme-cold, dry environment and requires standing for 8–10 hours a day. Days off may vary Monday through Saturday, and some weekend work is required. Physical duties include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting; employees must be able to push, pull repeatedly, and carry or lift up to 100 pounds. Some areas may involve heavy equipment.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to work A-Shift with variable hours.
Must be willing and able to work in an extreme-cold, dry environment.
Must be able to stand 8–10 hours a day and use hands and arms above shoulder level.
Must be willing and able to push and pull repeatedly and carry or lift up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to perform required physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting.
Must be willing and able to work safely in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required safety equipment.
Must be willing and able to cross-train in different areas.

Responsibilities

Receive product and transfer it from conveyor belts to pallets.
Stack product onto pallets for entry into the Freezer Inventory System.
Consolidate partially stacked product.
Operate inverters and machine wrappers.
Manually pull spacers from frozen product.
Operate mules to load product onto trailers for shipment.
Sticker export product for shipment.
Maintain good housekeeping practices.
Work safely in a fast-paced environment while wearing required safety equipment.
Cross-train in different areas and perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
