Warehouse Forklift & Order Fulfillment Associate
About The Position
Savannah Distributing Company is seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Forklift & Order Fulfillment Associates to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for accurately picking and moving products, loading and unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, conducting inventory checks, restocking products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Associates may operate equipment such as sit-down forklifts and order pickers and will use handheld scanners and warehouse management software to complete daily tasks. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Requirements

- Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening, including background check, drug screening, and physical requirements applicable to the position.
- Must be able to comply with the company's drug-free workplace and safety policies.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Forklift and/or order picker experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, move, and stage products for orders and deliveries.
- Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
- Operate forklifts, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated warehouse areas while ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
- Restock products in the appropriate warehouse locations.
- Use handheld scanners and warehouse management software to locate, track, and process products.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and equipment guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Assist with additional warehouse functions as operational needs require.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
