About The Position

As an FTA Incentive Lift Operator, you will transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse to put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets of stock through warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up forklift. The position is located at 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406. Pay is $19 per hour, with incentive pay after graduation from training. Paid training is provided. The schedule is a 6:30 a.m. start until the work is done, Sunday through Wednesday. The warehouse environment may include grocery dry goods at approximately 50°–90°. Work involves frequent standing, bending, pulling, lifting, and pivoting, as well as handling products of varying weights and using box-cutting tools safely.

Requirements

One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment.
Experience operating a Reach Truck or stand-up forklift is required.
Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
Ability and willingness to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures.
Team-oriented outlook and a passion for helping others.
Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact communities.
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.

Responsibilities

Operate a Hi Lo forklift (Reach Truck) to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse.
Track inventory accurately using a handheld computer and other necessary technology.
Stack and rotate merchandise by hand or using material handling equipment.
Replenish pick slots and production lines to support timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Stage finished product in designated storage areas.
Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
Follow all forklift operator safety protocols and procedures.
Occasionally lift cases of varying weight, shape, and height safely.
