About The Position

The Warehouse Equipment Operator - Replenishment is responsible for scanning product to be stocked in bin and pallet locations, verifying part numbers and quantities, and ensuring proper rotation for "first in first out" stock. This role involves finding new locations for parts if adequate space is not available and operating stock pickers or reach equipment with the required certification. The operator must meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, while adhering to established quality and productivity goals. Active participation in job qualification audits and strict adherence to standard operating procedures are expected. The position requires maintaining acceptable time and attendance, being available for overtime, and demonstrating a positive, team-oriented attitude. The operator will contribute to the success of the operations team by accepting "other duties as required," working independently with minimal supervision, and maintaining a sense of urgency and a positive attitude focused on desired results. Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and notifying management of hazards is crucial. The role also supports daily warehouse department metrics and performs FOD and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards. Cross-training in other areas is also required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Will require an in-house material handling equipment license according to type of equipment being operated and follow defined safety guidelines.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Responsibilities

  • Scans product to be stocked in bin and pallet locations; verifies part number and quantity to be stocked; scans storage location; verifies parts in location are the same as parts to be stocked; rotates parts to ensure “first in first out” where appropriate.
  • If adequate space is not available, finds a new location that will accommodate parts using a split stock function, or function for a larger location, and scans parts into new location and verifies within system.
  • Will be required to operate stock picker or reach with required certification.
  • Ensures TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery within the areas of assigned responsibility.
  • Meets established quality goals in relation to errors measured as “parts per million” produced and productivity goals as defined by Management.
  • Actively participates in job qualification audits and strictly adheres to all established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies defined by Human Resources and Operations; available to work overtime as required due to business demands.
  • Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward work assignments in full collaboration and cooperation with others to complete all work assignments according to expectations and in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
  • Contributes to the ongoing success of the entire operations team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required”, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, works with a sense of urgency, and maintains an overall positive attitude focused on delivery of desired results for TTI.
  • Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safe operating policies and expectations; notifies management of any observed safety hazards.
  • Supports daily warehouse department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Performs FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained.
  • Actively cross trains in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function.
