About The Position

This role is responsible for accurately counting and pulling parts from bin and pallet locations, re-verifying part numbers and quantities, and entering required information. The operator will repackage product as needed, apply and scan bar codes, and operate stock picker or reach equipment with the required certification. The position ensures TTI meets or exceeds customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, while meeting established quality and productivity goals. The operator actively participates in job qualification audits, adheres to standard operating procedures, and maintains acceptable attendance, with availability for overtime as required. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential for collaboration and efficient work completion. The role involves accepting "other duties as required," working independently with minimal supervision, and maintaining a sense of urgency and a positive attitude focused on results. Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and reporting hazards is crucial. The position supports daily warehouse metrics and performs FOD and location maintenance to maintain 5S standards. Active cross-training in other areas is also required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Energetic and goal focused.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
  • Ability to count accurately and perform simple math.
  • Ability to read English and comprehend simple written work instructions.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Will require an in-house material handling equipment license according to type of equipment being operated and follow defined safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately counts and pulls parts from bin and pallet locations.
  • Re-verifies part number and quantity ordered with parts pulled.
  • Enters required information (i.e., internal part verification, order quantity, customer requirements, etc.).
  • Repackages product as needed.
  • Applies and scans bar code.
  • Operates stock picker or reach with required certification.
  • Ensures TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery within the areas of assigned responsibility.
  • Meets established quality goals in relation to errors measured as “parts per million” produced and productivity goals as defined by Management.
  • Actively participates in job qualification audits and strictly adheres to all established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies defined by Human Resources and Operations; available to work overtime as required due to business demands.
  • Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward work assignments in full collaboration and cooperation with others to complete all work assignments according to expectations and in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
  • Contributes to the ongoing success of the entire operations team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required”.

  • Performs FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained.
  • Actively cross trains in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function.

Benefits

  • Starting pay for a new employee is $19.25 per hour with increases at 90 and 360 days if meeting expectations.
