This position involves stocking products in various warehouse locations such as pick modules, carousels, or mezzanines. The role requires verifying part numbers and quantities, scanning items into their designated locations, and ensuring proper stock rotation using a 'first in, first out' method. If adequate space is not available, associates will find new locations or utilize larger ones, scanning parts into the new location and verifying within the Warehouse Control System (WCS). The position may require the operation of push carts, carousels, or pallet jacks. Associates are expected to meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, while adhering to established quality goals and standard operating procedures. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance is crucial, with availability for overtime as needed. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, and embrace additional duties as required. Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and reporting hazards is also a key responsibility. The role supports daily warehouse metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and involves performing Foreign Object Detection (FOD) and location maintenance to maintain 5S standards. Cross-training in other areas may be required.
