About The Position

Austin Industrial is seeking a Warehouse Driver for work at Olin in Freeport, Texas. The role supports production and product distribution by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, staging finished products for shipment, moving and organizing inventory, and operating machinery to move items. The employee maintains inventory records, prepares and documents shipments, and inspects and maintains material-handling equipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Two years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more months of experience in an industrial setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, label, and stock materials and supplies, and record inventory locations.
• Locate, pull, and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Deliver and open materials and supplies at work centers to maintain in-process inventory.
• Record delivered units and their locations.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
• Record units shipped.
• Complete pre-use inspections of material-handling equipment and make operator repairs.
• Move and organize inventory and operate machinery to move items.
• Lift and maneuver packages weighing at least 50 pounds using appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
